When two adults entering "intimate time"' and the man is constantly demonstrating lack of intimate sensitivity and attentivity, and rushes into the sexual act itself – meaning the penetration, it might have negative influence on his woman partner. As a result, the woman's body reacts in a way that influence her sexual desire which in some cases may decrease.
According to cultural stereotypes, men are much eager for sexual intercourse then women, and only women are the ones that are setting the limits on such activity. Most researchers from variety of perspectives have agreed with that perspective, but there are some disagreements about why there are gender differences for this matter (Clark & Hatfield, 1989).
